Refund Policy for MyMaximus Academy

1. Cancellation by the Academy

  • Full Refund: If the academy cancels or discontinues a course or program, all fees paid by the student will be refunded in full.

2. Cancellation by the Student

  • Before Course Start: Students who cancel their enrollment before the course start date will receive a full refund, minus a non-refundable application fee of aed 1500.
  • After Course Start: Refunds for cancellations after the course has started will be prorated based on the number of classes attended. The refund amount will be calculated as follows:
    • Up to 25% of the course completed: 75% refund of the tuition fee.
    • Twenty-six percent to 50% of the course completed: 50% refund of the tuition fee.
    • More than 50% of the course completed: No refund.

3. Withdrawal from the Course

  • Voluntary Withdrawal: Students who voluntarily withdraw from a course must notify the academy in writing. Refunds will be prorated based on the number of classes attended, like the cancellation policy.
  • Involuntary Withdrawal: If a student is withdrawn by the academy due to disciplinary reasons or failure to meet academic requirements, no refund will be issued.

4. Refund Request Procedure

  • Submission: Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the admissions office, including the reason for the request and any supporting documentation.
  • Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving the request.

5. Non-Refundable Fees

  • Application Fee: The assessment fee is non-refundable.
  • Administrative Fees: Any administrative fees incurred during the enrollment process are non-refundable.
  • Material Fees: Fees for materials or textbooks that have been issued are non-refundable.

6. Special Circumstances

  • Medical or Personal Emergencies: In cases of medical or personal emergencies, students may be eligible for a partial refund or credit for future courses. Documentation may be required.
  • Visa Denial: International students who are denied a visa will receive a full refund, minus the application fee, upon providing proof of visa denial.
